About Black Swan Tennis

From local parks to the world stage

Every great tennis story has a beginning. For Black Swan Tennis, that journey started in 2015 on local park courts. Our founder, Adam Burgis, began with a career in analysing and modeling sports data. He realised that to truly understand tennis data, he needed to play and compete in the game itself. What started as a passion for improvement quickly evolved. Adam transitioned from recreational park matches to representing local clubs, eventually progressing to LTA tournaments and the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour.

Since 2019 Adam has achieved a remarkable milestone: he has played more global ITF Masters events than anyone else in his age category. This journey was about more than just points and trophies; it was about immersing himself in the international tennis community, to understand exactly what makes a tennis experience truly exceptional. His competitive journey has spanned the world’s most prestigious tennis destinations.

Black Swan Tennis is built on a foundation of deep, hands-on knowledge. Adam is not just a player; he is a qualified coach and stringer. His interest covers every facet of the game, from advanced data analysis and teaching techniques to organising tennis holidays. We understand what players, coaches and families need because we are part of that world.

The Black Swan Tennis mission
